Joanne, smart, artistic, poetic, humorous! How I miss my high school, lifelong friend! She graduated from Mountainside School of Nursing, later received a B.S. from the University of Pennsylvania (her father’s alma mater). A nurse for two years at Mountainside Hospital, she then started a 26-year career as a stewardess for United. She usually flew the L.A. to Honolulu route because a registered nurse was required to be on board at that time.
Spontaneous, impulsive, but just plain fun! She married Ivo at a wedding chapel in Vegas! One cherished wedding gift was a velvet Elvis picture!
Joanne’s handsome and beloved son, Jesse survives her. She physically just missed seeing him graduate from Seton Hall Prep, but I know she saw from Heaven and will always watch over him. Joanne’s sister Kathryn and brother Ralph will continue to be a loving family for Jesse!
