It is with great sorrow that the family of Penny Cloud announces her passing on Sunday, July 8th, 2018, at the age of 74, Penny will be lovingly remembered by her sisters (June and Marion) her three children (Dawn, Dale, and Duke). Penny will also be forever remembered by her step children, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
She was married on December 31st, 1983 to JV Cloud, who passed earlier this year. She graduated from Montclair High and attended Rutgers University for psychology. She was a switchboard operator, clothing store manager and the Vice President of Alpha Unlimited between 1986 and 1992 where she assisted with the design and creation ofthree-wheeled carts for the disabled and did a lot of charity for her community. Penny enjoyed playing the Cello in her youth, supported and rescued cats from "The Cat Depot" and was the president of the Bay Plaza Ladies Group. Her sarcastic wit and sassy redheaded attitude will be missed in this world.
A Memorial Service was held on Saturday, July 14th, 2018 at her condominium's meeting room at 1255 N Gulfstream Ave., Sarasota FL 34236. Those who so desire, in lieu of flowers, may make memorial donations in memory of Penny to "The Cat Depot" 2542 17th St, Sarasota Fl, 941-366-2287.
