Theresa M. Smith (nee DeSimone), 69, of Toms River, N.J., formerly of Montclair, N.J. died Monday, March 11, 2013. A Memorial Mass will be offered at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, March 25, at St. Maximilian Kolbe R.C. Church, Berkeley Township, N.J. Burial of her ashes will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 26, at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Upper Montclair, N.J. Theresa was born and lived most of her life in Montclair before moving to Toms River 12 years ago. She was a beautician and travel agent. Surviving are her husband of 40 years, John; three sons, Gerald Gialanella, Paul Gialanella, and Mark Gialanella; four grandchildren, Kiara, Vincent, Nicholas, and Skyler; her sister, Toni Ann Durino, and her brother, Frank DeSimone.
