So saddened to hear about Peggy. I met her when I was 4 years old and reconnected with her on this site about five years ago and we have kept in touch since. Very nice, caring lady and I will miss her greatly. Sweet dreams Peggy.

RIP Peggy. (Oct. 18, 1943 - Oct. 11, 2016) You will be remembered by so many even though you were not able to graduate with us due to your family moving before your senior year. You leave behind a wonderful family and lots of good memories. Sympathy goes to her sister Susan and her brother Don also.    I had known Peggy since we were little girls and she was always so happy to be back in Montclair and see her many friends.  Her Kaveny family was a Montclair institution!

I was so sad to hear of Peggy's passing. She and I became close friends in our junior year at MHS. We lost touch after her move to VT, but eventually, we reconnected on email.  Peggy and I enjoyed a recent (April, 2016) visit near her home in Winston-Salem, NC.  She was hoping to come to our 55th reunion but was dealing with difficult health issues.  Nevertheless, Peggy always held a positive and up-beat outlook on life,  She had a strong faith and was devoted to her family.  Peggy was a beautiful soul and a loyal friend.  I will greatly miss her.

Hi Jane! Do you have any info on what happened with Peggy? We both had COPD and I know she was doing exercise and other things to deal with it but the last time we chatted early in the year she didn't mention anything new with her health. From the In Memorium notcie it said she dies after a brief illness so I wqas just wondering. She mentioned seeing you earlier in the year and how much fun it was to see you again. Hope you are well and happy. I love retirement but getting old really sucks. Now that I have the time to do things I have neither the energy or stamina to do much.

Thanks!

Chris

Peggy and I were  friends   from elementary school on.   We lost touch after high school but had reconnected several years ago, emailing each other frequently and ocasionally talking by phone. .   I am deeply saddened to learn of her passing.  She always had a smile and a laugh for you, even when she was struggling herself at times.   I will miss her friendship greatly.  Rest in peace my friend and may the Lord be with your family during this time.
