James K., 75, beloved husband of Pamela K. (Edwards) on Wednesday, August 24, 2016. Born and raised in Montclair, NJ; he was the manager of Pompton Plumbing Supply, Riverdale (1964-88), Vice President Lombardi Supply, Hawthorne, and was a general contractor until retiring. Along with his wife of 52 years, he is survived by his favorite son, Jim, Jr. (Naomi), his favorite daughter, Kim Shukis (Chris), six outstanding grandchildren, Ian, Kelsey and Sara Shukis; Colin, Aren and Catherine McGlashan, two brothers, Robert (Bobbie) and Bill (Mary), sisters-in-law Suzanne Meyers and Jennifer Blauvelt (Chris), brother-in-law Frank Dmuchowski, many nieces, nephews and cousins and our dog Coco. His parents James M and Margaret (Kennedy) and a sister-in-law Aleen Dmuchowski predeceased him. Jim thoroughly enjoyed time spent with his family, the West Milford Presbyterian Church's Senior Saints, the Bald Eagle Commons dice, bocci, shuffle board players and time spent at the pool. He was always willing to lend a helping hand whether he knew you or not. Memorial Service 3 PM on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at the West Milford Presbyterian Church, Union Valley Road.
