Dartmouth BA, Columbia MBA. Married in 1967, 3 kids, widowed in 1985, remarried to a wonderful woman in 1991 with her own 3 kids. Moved to Hanover, NH in 1975 (still our home base), left banking in 1981 to join small (now large) manufacturing firm as VP Finance. We retired in 2004 to travel (we are experienced home exchangers with trips around the world using this great way to travel) and to enjoy our 13 grandchildren. Active here in several charities. Spending winters in Venice, FL, summers at the family homestead at Lake George, NY, and a month each year in Brigid's home town of Glasgow, Scotland. Still singing with The Charades, an a capella doo-wop quartet doing the songs we all remember from the 50's and 60's.

He was in our card-playing, basketball-shooting, fooling around group.  Just a fun guy to be with.  So sad.

Happy birthday next weekend, Johnny. I'm happy to see you're happily remarried after the tragedy of losing your wife (my story too).

Happy birthday, Kent, the day after mine and to a friend I always admired. I always enjoyed visiting you in college. I can see you ended up as far from Harvard as I did from Dartmouth. Hope you are well and happy.

Happy Birthday, my old friend from our younger years. It would be great to get together sometime and remember how it was growing up in Montclair NJ.

I have just finished watching a TV story on the Andy Muns case, featured on 20/20 on OWN Network.  Amazingly, I was just passing by the room where my wife was watching when I heard "He graduated from Montclair, New Jersey High School in 1961"  The show detailed what Andy's sister related on this webpage.  But as a further update, the perpetrator's confession was finally allowed as evidence in court.  He pled guilty to manslaughter and was sentenced to four years in prison.  He was released upon completion of his sentence in, I believe, 2009.  Andy was a good friend in high school, one of those "All-American" kids, so it was nice to see this resolved and watch him get a burial with full military honors ln Arlington National Cemetery at the conclusion of the program.

Happy birthday, Dave. I don't think I've seen you since graduation. I did notice you are living Schroon Lake. My family's had a summer place on a Lake George island for over 100 years - that makes us neighbors!

Wow, this is a tough one.  Some people you just don't think you will ever lose.  I went all the way through school with Gary - kickball at Watchung, our George Inness basketball team that lost in the finals to Ben Mobley's team, football at MHS where I occasionally got to block on a "9" play that sent Gary around right end (usually with devastating results to the opposition).  And to top it off, he was a great guy. Gary, Chris Reese, and I had to deliver speeches at Walter Courtney's retirement (1961?) and now they are both gone.  Very sad.

Happy birthday to us, late for you and early for me. We shared a lot of them in earlier times. We have kids in Kennebunkport now so maybe that NH/ME reunion is closer to being a reality.

Mitch, I visited with Dartmouth classmate Rick Mahoney last week. Who's he? April, 1962, Dartmouth frosh baseball vs Harvard. You pitched a 2-hitter and Mahoney got the two hits! Happy birthday the 21st, day after mine.

Happy birthday John! Remember when we used to share a birthday party on Stanford Place (mine is the 20th)? Your house and my grandparents' were almost across the street. What did your father have - a cotton-candy machine? And we ended up playing MHS football together, I think we were the two defensive ends on the Commandos, the 10th grade team. Just doesn't seem that long ago.
