Bill was one of the funniest, as well as one of the smartest, guys I knew.

We played basketball every chance we got. I remember going over to his house for my first fried baloney sandwiches.

I recall Bill at senior week at the shore and not being able to stop laughing. You are missed. Ric

A brief memory of Bill, when he was on staff of the Mountaineer.  A poem, as only Bill could pen:

It's spring, it's spring; the bird is on the wing.

That's absurd, the wing is on the bird!!

I moved to Montclair with my family for my last year of high school. Somehow Bill and I were always the first in the smoking area at lunch, which was where we became good friends. I was also drawn to his great sense of humor and sarcasm.  Not knowing anyone in a new town and school his friendship at that time meant a lot as I tried to fit in... Bill we miss you.

I remember Bill as being one of the smartest and funniest  kids in our class. A very rare combination. He never seemed to study, joked around all the time, yet always knew the material and got As. I was always impressed.
