Mary L. Romano September 21, 2017
Mary L. Romano, age 74, of Jackson, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at CareOne at Jackson in Jackson, NJ. Born in Boston, Massachusetts, Mary lived in several cities in New Jersey including East Orange, Newark, Princeton and Bloomsbury before settling in the Jackson area over 21 years ago. She was a bookkeeper for Sam's Club in Freehold and in her spare time enjoyed crossword puzzles, trips to Atlantic City and spending time with her dog. She was predeceased by her parents Daniel and Lucia Pizzi as well as her husband Philip Romano. Surviving is her brother Salvatore Pizzi and his wife Cathy and her sister Anne Roberto and many loving nieces and nephews.

I was so sad to hear about Mary. We became very close in our senior year. Of course, like most of us, we lost touch after high school, but I did reach out to her to try to get her to come to our 50th reunion. I really wanted to reconnect; however, she said she wouldn't be coming. That was the last time I spoke with her. Thanks for all the memories, Mary. Rest in Peace.
